In loving memory of Yitzchok Friedman and Noach Dear, the Orthodox Jewish Nurses Association is distributing pulse oximeter devices to immunocompromised and high risk community members during the COVID-19 pandemic. It has been shown that early detection of a decrease in oxygen levels in the blood is critical in the treatment and management of COVID-19.

While the devices are being given out free of charge, donations are welcome to cover the costs. The Orthodox Jewish Nurses Association is a non-profit organization, and all donations are tax deductible.

Special thank you to Goldie Burstein RN, Linda Segel RN, and Shevi Rosner RN for overseeing this project.

As of January 2022, over 450 pulse oximeters were distributed free of charge to community members in NY and NJ.
